Review: Starlooks Haul

I have been meaning to try out the Starlooks products for quite some time now. They have a monthly subscription box and the blog reviews I've seen for them are all just fantastic. However, I wanted to try out their products before I signed up for the box, just to make sure they lived up to the hype. Lucky for me,

Starlooks partnered with Ipsy in June, so we got an awesome discount of 35% off all products on their website. Perfect opportunity!

You can actually purchase past Starlooks monthly boxes (if they're still available...looks like most of them sell out pretty quickly!), so I bought the January box. I also purchased the 'Signature Turquoise' set because, well, it was too pretty not to! :) 

I was panicking a little because my tracking hadn't updated in several days, but it turns out the tracking number was a little funky because the package showed up today unexpectedly. YAY!

Swatches. HOW PRETTY ARE BOTH OF THESE! The turquoise is a little brighter than what I normally wear, but I will find a way to make it work. This is just one swipe with my finger, so it's pretty pigmented & definitely could be built up to achieve a more vibrant color. And that gem pencil...oh my gosh it's gorgeous! Perfect for some extra shimmer

This particular box included this bracelet by Abby Rose Designs. Not really my style but green IS my favorite color, so I'm sure I'll find something to wear it with!

Swatches. Again...SO pretty. I tend to always lean towards the peachier side when I pick out blushes, so this is absolutely perfect for me. The brown liner does NOT have sparkles..just still had some on my skin from the first swatches. I've actually never owned a brown liner, so I'm curious to try this & see if maybe it looks a little less intense than black. Aaaand that gem liner! Again, just gorgeous. Probably going to take advantage of the discount & buy a few more of those.
